Stumbled across a wonderful new interior designer, Lily Z Design. I fell in love with the little girl’s room she created with pink and yellow (2 of my favorite colors) in a tiny New York City apartment.
I just wanted to let you all know that this is my dream hair. Super thick, shiny, blonde, and with a slight wave. That would be nice to have.

A Summer in Connecticut
As a girl born and raised on the west coast I do a little day dreaming of what it would be like spending summers in a preppy little east coast seaside town. These photos from Life Magazine are all taken in the summer time in Fairfield County Connecticut during 1948 & 1949 and they most definitely live up to my dream standards. And I must mention the clothes, my gosh I love the clothes!

Oh Harry!
Lucky me get’s to head up to LA this afternoon and attend the Harry Potter premier. I’m so excited, I just love the whole Harry Potter crew, and feel a little nostalgic that this will really be the last time I see Hogwarts on the big screen.

Wow, can you believe it is Friday already?! I hope you all have a happy sunny weekend. My Mr. is off to a Bachelor party for my future brother in law, so that means some serious girl time with my sister and Mom. I’m hoping we make it to the movies to see Midnight in Paris.

Glitter Guide
First off Glitter Guide! If you haven’t visited the site already, please do. Their latest ”Style at Home” is the amazing Tori of Sitting in a Tree. I featured her colorful Mexico wedding a while back and claimed it as one of my all time favorites. I stand by that comment and am now going to go ahead and claim her house as one of my all time favorites! Both her wedding and her home pull off the young, vintage, beachy, hippie vibe with perfection. Such a fun house with style inspiration for young couples.
