I have been thinking a lot about if I were to custom make my own head board what it would be. I keep saving pictures with the same theme. Fun shapes, colorful, and tufted. They all look cozy to be propped up against on Sunday morning lounging in bed reading a book and drinking coffee.

I first became excited about the new Kate Spade bedding line while reading an article in Rue Magazine, but today as I clicked an email link to Bed Bath & Beyond and finally had a look at the collection I was thrilled! They did such a great job creating a line at a reasonable cost, for the masses and without it looking like every other boring or too matchy matchy bedding set out there. But of course I am not surprised, Kate Spade can do no wrong in my book.
I’m loving these over the top gingam bedrooms! Such grandeur, it’s worthy of sleeping a Prince or Princess.

How gorgeous are these blanket from Heidi Merrick? I can’t get enough of that amazing print in all the different colors. Image them draped over the end of a big white cozy bed or hanging off the side a couch. I can’t decide which color I like best, they are all too beautiful.
Isn’t this the perfect cool teenage girls bedroom? It belongs to Carson, the daughter of the amazing interior designer Betsy Burnham. The whole room is young, colorful and eclectic just the way I like it.
This sweet little girls room belongs to the the adorable twins over at the Full House blog (and no I’m not talking about Michelle). Is this not every little girls pink fantasy room? Yet it’s so classic cute they’ll love it even when they’re older. I loved this room even more when I realized she pulled the whole thing together for under $250!!! It’s amazing what a little Ebay, Cragslist, and Home Goods can do for you.

I’m not sure where I found this photo, but I’ve had it saved in my computer for about a year now. I just love the little child’s wooden bed. It looks so cozy tucked in the corner with the monogrammed white sheets. I have the feeling that whoever lives in this room really truly loves it. Such a sweet little bedroom.
I love the idea of staking up suitcases as a bedside table. The perfect creative touch that makes a room. If you’re not quite lucky enough to have two Louis Vuitton suitcases lying around the house any old vintage leather luggage will do.

I just love this image! Nothing beats a white bedroom with touches of soft color. I especially love the shelf that runs across the wall at the head of the bed. The girl in the photo is the French actress Melanie Laurent who plays Shoshana in Inglorious Bastards (one of my new favorite movies). The French are so chic!
