You can never go wrong with black and white stripes in every aspect of life. I have my eye on this adorable peplum jacket (but way out of my price range).
Wedding veils and wind make for some fun photos. Although I can imagine it wasn’t quite as fun as it looks for these girls to have your veil whipped around on your wedding day.
The art of creating the perfect cheese, fruit and nut platter is something we should all be able to do. They always look so beautiful and earthy and even the pickiest of eaters is bound to enjoy something on the plate. Plus major bonus, it only takes a few moments to put it all together.

Thanks to Pinterest I have become a little obsessed with these Polish chandeliers called Pajaki. They are so colorful and cute and would make the perfect touch to a fun party or wedding. I would be tempted to use it in a nursery in replacement of a traditional mobile. Oh Happy Day does a great DIY on making your very own. She admittedly says it’s very labor intensive so you may just want to click over to the Polish Art Center to purchase one.

A year ago today I married the most amazing boy in the world who I fall in love with more and more everyday. My best friend, the cutest boy ever and (even though this word is cheesy I don’t know how else to put it) my soul mates. We were made for one another and I feel so blessed to be his partner through life. Our wedding day was perfect and I wish I could relive it over and over again. Happy Anniversary to us!

I’ve been meaning to blog about my sister’s AMAZING wedding from the moment I first saw the spectacular photos. I knew it would take some serious time sitting down and selecting out of 900 photos which ones I wanted to use. However I eventually gave up and snagged most of the photos straight off the blog of their talented photographer, Gabriel Ryan. Let’s face it, he already did the hard work for me and my zip file of all the photos still says it has another 45 minutes to download.
A little bit about Kathleen and Bob; They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and are the type of couple you never get tired of being around. I cried through my entire speech trying to express to Kathleen how much I love her and what an amazing sister she has been my entire life. It wasn’t the prettiest speech, but hopefully I got the point across that I just love her so much and can’t believe she found a man who matches her in kindness and will take care for her to the end.
Their wedding took place on Catalina Island, a place we have been going to every summer as a family since we were born, with the ceremony at Descanso and the reception in the Casino. It was a weekend of FUN that lead up to a wedding that knocked the socks of any other. There were lots of joyful tears (especially on the Bob’s part), fish themed everything (the table numbers were all fish, vintage fish vases to be used at the cocktail our, Marlin envelope liners for the invitation (by Posh Paperie or course), a marlin shaped groom’s cake, gorgeous flower arrangements (succulents and peonies), the BEST streamers for the walk back down the aisle (they shot at least 30 feet in the air and came raining down over everybody: best exit ever), a dance floor filled from the moment we walked in the reception, a view that can’t be beat, and most importantly a couple that was so clearly in love. My sister and mom worked incredibly hard on every little details that came together and created the most unique and joyful wedding. They put together everything from home made lamps on the table to the candles wrapped in scenes from Catalina. It was a wedding filled with love and a party which will go down in Catalina history (largest bar tab ever)!

I am completely smitten with this photo. Paris and a wedding dress with a bow that kills me with its cuteness! Truly a breath taking gown.

I love this table setting so much! Blue chevron and blush pink. A little fun and unique party table inspiration.
