Rainbow bookshelves, gosh I love them! There is quite an art to organizing bookshelves and arranging them by color is an easy and fun way to do so.
Anna Spiro is one of all time favorite Interior Design inspirations. She is colorful, happy, and chic, my three favorite combinations. I check her blog, Absolutely Beautiful Things, on a regular basis and I am tempted to head to Brisban just to see her fabulous store, Black and Spiro. She’s started a new series for her blog where she sets up a vignette in her store to go with the upcoming season. Since it is spring in Australia the photos above are from the cheerful Spring 2011 Vignette. She even links it so you can buy every item seen in the photo. Isn’t her work fun? It makes me smile every time I look at it.
Although summer is over I couldn’t resist posting this cuteness.

How cute are the Thomas family little ones? I just love every photo our wedding photographer, Jill Thomas, takes. But I especially love the ones involving her adorable children. Too cute!
I love the idea of displaying books in your home like they do in a children’s book store. All colorful and easy to see. It would be great for all those pretty coffee table books you have, but never get around to looking at.

I have been thinking a lot about if I were to custom make my own head board what it would be. I keep saving pictures with the same theme. Fun shapes, colorful, and tufted. They all look cozy to be propped up against on Sunday morning lounging in bed reading a book and drinking coffee.

The Help was one of my all time favorite books so I just can’t wait to see it on the big screen. Such a powerful message during a time of great change in the United States. The interior designer in me can’t wait to see the set design. Southern mansions in the 1960s, yes please!
Have you seen these amazing flowers posted on The Wedding Chicks blog today?! Seriously my heart skipped a beat when it came across these beauties. I’m a sucker for pink peonies and milk glass hobnail vases.

Doesn’t this look a heavenly way to spend a warm summer day! I love every little detail of this photo, the table cloth, the long watermelon, the fishing pole, and I even spot a cocker spaniel in the background.
