Hi everybody! Oh my goodness I have been such an MIA blogger. I have quite a good excuse though, I got a new job! Very exciting, I’m working as a designer for a great interior design firm in Corona Del Mar. I’ve been buried in fabrics, furniture and finish samples. Hopefully as I get more in the swing of things I willl get my blogging time all figured out. In the mean time here are a few instagram photos of my many trips to the Design Centers.

I had such a spectular weekend in Palm Springs with my family that it’s hard to get back into the swing of things this Monday morning. The house we rented was Dougie and my one story midcentury dream home. The whole time I picture us moving in and raising a family. It was a nice fantasy to have all weekend. Not just the house, but the company is what made the whole weekend perfect. I am so blessed to have such an amazing loving and fun family. We did our best to pamper our Mom on Mother’s Day, because she truly deserves the world! She would beat every Mom out ther in any Mothering competition! I’m serious! We share the same taste in everything and love for interior design (and all things baby, probably shouldn’t be admitting that, but yes we “brake for babies”) that where ever we are we’re guaranteed to have fun togher. My husband calls her She-Ra, “Princess of Power”, becasue she can litterally do anything (and she’s really strong). Love you Mom!

I am sitting at my desk anxiously counting down the minutes to 5:30 when I get to go off to my Palm Springs weekend. I am so excited to spend a relaxing weekend in one of my favorite cities with my family, but I am also super duper excited that we will be staying in this amazing rental house. Isn’t it so the Viceroy! I can’t wait to enjoy all the glam decor! See you all on Monday, hopefully my legs will be a little less white and a lot more tan!

Happy Weekend girls!!! I am very excited that the sun in fianlly shining down on us and we have a fun filled weekend ahead. First we will hopefully make a few buck at the all Balboa Island garage sale, fallowed by my nieces birthday in Julian and then the Newport Harbor Yacht Club opeaning day is a guaranteed fun time on Sunday.(I’ll be sure to sneak in a few chips and guacamole in honor on Cinco de Mayo tomorrow). Hope you all have as much goodness to look forward to as I do!

I couldn’t resist sharing this link to a year of photos of Kate and William. Last year on this day I was in Puerta Vallarta on a bachelorette party weekend and a group of us girls awoke bright and early in order to catch the wedding ceremony live from England. It was such an amazing experience to watch and I, along with the rest of the world, fell l in love with beautiful Kate.

Happy Friday everybody! This photo has nothing to do with my weekend plans, but I just love everything about it. The jacket, the house, the hair, all of it is perfection. We had one of the funnest Easters ever. We started with an amazing church service complete with a full orchestra and a 50 person choir and then ate way too much yummy food at the Yacht Club brunch. We then headed back to my parents house for a big kid egg hunt where eggs are filled with money! Then we sat around played games and chatted while watching the Masters. We proceeded to head out on a little boat cruise where we were joined by some buddies and a stop back at the Yacht Club for Mai Tais was a must. Finishing up the night with some ring toss (a game everyone with a tree should have), some puppy play time and a fun Easter dinner with all 11 of us gathered around the dining table. It was perfect! I’m so lucky to have such amazing parents who truly are the best hosts ever!

Is this entry way with those amazing double doors not out of this world fabulous! The rounded details, the shiny white laquer paint, the centered door knob, the surrounding by glass. I need these in my dream home (although I’ve always been partial to the dutch door, decisions decision…..)
