As the Primetime Emmy Awards reminded me last night, I LOVE MAD MEN!! I am truly obsessed!!! I can’t wait for season 4 to finish and come out on DVD so Dougie and I can watch back to back episodes. I still can’t believe Don and Betty are over…….

I must admit that I have a fascination for the Kennedy family history and have found the perfect blog to fulfill my curiosity. At its Best is filled with photos of the amazingly entertaining lives of all Kennedy family members. The photo above is one of my favorites. I love Jackies pink dress with matching lips and her double strand pearl necklace all set against the yellow upholstery.
I fell in LOVE with this sweet wedding over at 100 Layer Cake, and became even more smitten with it when I realized that this Isle of Wight wedding was completely DIY by the lovely couple. They made and set up EVERYTHING!!! Truly amazing!!! I have now become slightly obsessed with this bride and have throughly perused her blog Tales of a Junkaholic.
This photo make me happy. I’m loving her organized accessories and shoes, the family photos tucked into the white tin mirror, and especially the lucite shelf. My current obsession is lucite furniture and I’m hoping to find a lucite coffee table, just like Elizabeth Bauer, along my flee market journeys.

The bar cart, a home and office essential in the 60s, is now once again a chic new trend in the home. It holds everything you need to entertain your cocktail loving guests and it looks cool on top of that. It’s a great place to display all those fancy bar glasses you registered for. And for those of you who don’t have a cart or space for one, a bar tray will do just fine. Happy weekend!!!
This “Short and Sweet” editorial in Instyle Wedding caught my eye when it came out earlier this summer. I absolutely love a bride in a short dress and especially one with a little vintage flair. Although you may have already seen these photos, they are definitely worth checking out again.

As the big wedding day approaches (2 months from yesterday, ahhhh) I’m getting more and more excited for our Italian honeymoon! This J.CREW ad campaign shot in Capri is just too adorable with all the blue and yellow stripes. Hopefully Dougie and I will looks just as cheery cute in all our honeymoon photos.
