This entry way is just about perfect (I’m not sold on the chandelier and lamp choice yet, but they may grow on me). Something about this entry has left me thinking about it for a few days not. The ikat wallpaper, the dark wood banister, the anqtique rug, the yellow chair. I could go on, but there is no nead to describe every detail. There is so much charm packed into the bones of this little entry it just makes me happy.

How incredibly unique and awesome are these new John Robshaw Headboards?! I think the top pink one would would look aborable in a kids room with two twin beds.
Came across these two children’s room designed by Amie Corley that define my idea of the perfect kid’s room. They are playful and fun, yet grown up enough that I would love to live in them.

USA USA USA!! I am so excited that the olympics are underway. I will be especially cheering for one of our best friends, Jesse Smith (the handsome blonde second from the right) , who will be defending the silver metal and going for the gold as a member of the Men’s USA waterpolo team. Go Jesse!!!!

When I first started wtih blog I tried to come up with some fun unique name and one of the first things that popped into my head was “The Pink Sofa” (sadly the blog name was already taken). It seemed fitting, becasue I grew up with the perfect Laura Ashley pink sofa in my childhood home, making my love of the beauties no new thing. I think I would probably have one in my house right now if I didn’t think it may just put our house (the one I share with my husband) a little too far over on the girly scale (but then again…………. that boy has no fear of pink and I LOVE that about him). so, a little pink sofa action to fullfill your girly needs this Friday afternoon.
